Plejd is an awesome fast-growing Swedish tech company that develops products and services for smart lighting and home automation.
We are an in-house full-stack company that has a great mix of people involved in production, automation, hardware, embedded, app and cloud/backend development.
You will drive mechanical testing of plastics, metals, packaging, etc for products both on the market and in development. This includes one-time tests and maintaining long-term tests. You will both perform tests yourself and collaborate with testing houses as needed to meet Plejd’s quality requirements. In some cases you will be expected to develop new tests and new test methods, and in all cases it is expected that you will document your test results in a good manner. You will also be responsible in some cases for maintaining and managing test chambers and other equipment.
You will be a member of Plejd’s quality team, but you will also collaborate closely with Plejd’s mechanical team and will contribute with drawing updates, tolerance discussions, problem-solving, etc.
We are a very cooperative company, so we expect you to work with developers across multiple departments to ensure the right tests are done the right way at the right time. The work will be broad and will vary day-to-day.
