Technical sales representative for Plejd in the Netherlands

Plejd is entering The Netherlands and we are looking for a skilled and self-driven technical sales representative with a service mind and a passion for sales. We are offering a free and independent position where customer focus, achievement, and results are being valued and rewarded.

As the technical sales representative you will be a part of a fantastic team where collaboration and communication are highly valued. The position is operational, and you actively participate in the planning and execution of trade fairs, as well as training, demonstrations, and sales meetings for wholesalers, electricians, and dealers. 

The position requires a strong customer focus with high expertise in sales, where some of the success factors are identifying, creating, managing, and developing business with wholesalers, installers, and electricians.

The job places high demand on electrotechnical skills to reach the customer in a credible and professional way.

The work is independent and requires a strong courage to develop the region, both in terms of growth and customer satisfaction.

Your background

You have experience with sales to electrical wholesalers and/or installation materials, as well as a high understanding of electrical installations, installation technology, and electrical equipment. It is meritorious if you are an electrician and/or have worked as an electrician.

You are committed and always look for what is best for the customer while achieving both your own and the company’s business goals.

To achieve this, we think that you have a high level of interpersonal skills, with the ability to create, manage, and develop personal relationships both internally and externally.

You get energy from working alone but also have the ability to work together as a team.

You have a good sense of order with a structured approach, good computer skills and you express yourself well in Dutch and English both verbally and in writing.

One of the success factors in a sales job is the personal meeting with the customer, and extensive travel is a natural part of the sales process and the job.
